I want to extend my deepest, most sincere gratitude to the entire team at Gateway Pet Memorials in Guelph. As a veteran, my service dog was more than just a companion; they were my partner, my support system, and my family. Losing them was an incredibly difficult chapter to face, but the team at Gateway stepped in with a level of grace and respect that I will never forget.

The service and customer service here are second to none, but what truly sets them apart is the human element. In the midst of my grief and mourning, they treated my partner with the dignity a service animal deserves and treated me with genuine empathy. They understand that this isn’t just a "process"—it’s a final goodbye to a hero.

I would like to thank every single staff member I encountered. Your kindness made a world of difference during a very dark time.

Wishing the entire team a peaceful holiday season and all the very best as we head into 2026. Thank you for everything you do for our community and our animals.

I picked up my Lily's Ashes today! You are the best! I brought her home and sat and opened it up. The paw print was a wonderfully unexpected surprise. Thank You for taking such care of my Baby.

the perfect memory

I have always been extremely comforted in difficult times when i receive my memorial. this time, my white furred and pink skinned cat sadly passed away, and gateway was excellent with fulfilling my request. Her white base paw memorial is absolutely perfect with its pink coloured paw print. It looks so adorable, and such a perfect way to remember her.

Some peace during a tragedy

In the name of my sister's family and my own, I would like to say a major thank you to Julia and everyone at Gateway Pet Memorial. My sister's house burned in February, the family came out just in time. My brother-in-law wanted to go back for Étoile the family cat but it was to dangerous... Firefighter found her the morning after with very sad news to the family on top of the tragedy they went through... Gateway Pet Memorial were very generous in offering her a private cremation and the dignity that she deserved. That was already a great gesture that went straight to all our hearts. For me, who helped them with the memorial of Étoile, Julia was also of great comfort. She was calm, understanding and so caring. She was really some peace in the middle of the storm! After many months, I simply wished to sent my appreciation to the whole team a Gateway and also to the team at Dr. Vetamin, who were both very professional, kind and empathetic. You were some light during the storm. Thank you.

For context, I am totally blind. I had a guide dog named Tova who passed away in June of 2024, she was a standard poodle. The people at Gateway were so incredibly sweet, I truly cannot say enough good about them. They did Tova's cremation for free to honour her services. They were so caring and sweet throughout the entire process. It has taken me a long time to get around to writing this, and I am able to write it with ease now because I have finally made it through my grief. My grief was so painful and hard, but the people at Gateway made me feel as though I wasn't alone, and that helped more than anyone could know. I truly appreciate them.

Custom paw print

We received our custom pawprint today for our boy Happy and we are absolutely blown away. The details and colour are absolutely perfect! I am so happy that I chose the custom pawprint. I honestly was skeptical about how it would turn out and never imagined how perfect it would be. Thank you for providing this priceless memorial for my boy. I wish that I could attach a picture of it for everyone to see.
