Stewie
2009 - 2024
On December 28th 2024 at 9:25am, we lost our little man, Stewie. He was 15 years and 2 days old. He answered to ALL of the following names: Stewie, Fattie, Meg, Little Man and his formal name Sir Steussels Von Lichtenstein.
He was my first dog. One that I could call my own. He slept on the floor next to me every night with his head resting on my slippers or one of my shirts he fished from the laundry. He was definitely my best buddy.
He was a stray on the streets of Los Angeles at 4 months old when someone picked him up. In our search for a second dog, His older brother, Mylo, picked him out personally, to be his forever brother and our second fur baby. The wrestling matches these two had over the years were EPIC to watch. They really did protect and love each other. Stewie sported a Mohawk most of his life and boy did he love the attention. He knew he looked good. Lol.
He was a very happy dog in many respects. He was honored to be on a float in the LA Pride parade two years in a row and traveled the country with us in his years.
I can safely say that he was dumb as a box of rocks but, my god, he was the most loving and loyal best friends that I could ask for. No matter how much of a crappy day I had, when I got home, he was so excited to see me. I’d get my kiss and Then he would go to his favorite squeaky toy and squeak the excitement out until he calmed down.
Thank you for allowing me let it all out. I’m devastated today. He was a huge part of my life and I am a lucky man to have had him in it.
Enjoy the squeaky toy and ball pit in heaven, Little Man. I will cherish our memories together for the rest of my days. I love you, My Stew.
