Snowball Rideout

2000 - 2013

In Memory of Snowball , our special "Baby Girl" from the moment that we adopted her at 8 weeks old, we knew that she was unique and special when she fell asleep in my hands. She was loving and had an amazing purr. She loved all her adopted brothers and sisters and always came to greet us at the door when we came home. She always had to cuddle on my chest. She became ill two years ago with megacolon and suffered with bowel issues and constipation and as human parents we try to do our best but sometimes it is not enough to save them. SHe struggled hard and after 2 years with the megacolon and cisapride and small doses of daily laxatives, her bowel motility ceased to function properly and she couldn't relieve herself this last week. I could see her pain and discomfort in her eyes the last 3 days of her life and as painful as the decision was , we could not allow our "Baby Girl" to suffer this way. We made the appointment and I held her and kissed her and sang to her for 2 hours before the injection. She snuggled in my arms with her head resting against my forearm and she quietly and quickly passed from this life to the next. My heart is mourning her absence but her joy, love and memories that she gave us can never be lost to us. In my pictures of her, the memories I have and the love that we shared are a gift from God himself. Until we meet again in our Father's Kingdom Baby Girl, rest in peace with Dusty, Tiny, Trixie and Sheba. Love always , Mom and Dad, and Tiger,Angel, Misty, Lucky, Sheba, Smokey, Midnight, Ginger, Jazz, MIghty Zeus, Gabriel and Raphael (her adopted feline brother and sisters) xo
