Snicklefritz
2014 - 2025
I adopted Snicklefritz in May 2015 when he was just nine months old, and from that moment, our bond was unbreakable. I made a paw pact with him—he became my best friend, my sweet prince, my constant companion. Wherever I went, he followed.
I never imagined an animal could be so emotionally connected to a human, but Snicklefritz was. He was my source of comfort and strength. When I cried, he couldn’t bear to see me sad—he would cuddle close, give gentle head bumps, and remind me that everything would be okay. When I fractured my ankle and spent a week confined to a recliner, he never left my side, lying on my leg as if helping me heal.
Snicklefritz loved being part of my world—whether it was game nights, moving to new homes, or road trips to New Brunswick to visit his fur nanny and cousin cats. He even welcomed his baby brother Negan with open paws, and the two became inseparable.
He had a big, loving personality. He adored cuddles, spooning, being silly, and yes—he was a true snack connoisseur who loved to “chat” with me. Anyone who met Snickles felt his warmth; he gave love freely and expected love in return.
For 11 years, he was my heart, my best friend, my pal. Losing him is a pain beyond words—nothing can prepare you for the day your fur baby crosses the rainbow bridge. I still hear his purrs, his meowling calls, and feel the paw print forever stamped on my heart.
Snicklefritz passed away on December 31st at 12:47 a.m. He lived a life full of love and adventure, and I will love him forever and miss him always—my sweet prince.
