2012 - 2026

Skylar was more than just a dog — she was family, my heart dog, my constant, and one of the greatest loves of my life. For almost 14 years, she filled every room with comfort, joy, and unconditional love. Everyone who met her loved her, because that was just who she was — the bestest lady with the gentlest soul and the biggest heart.

She was there through so many chapters of life, always beside me with loyalty, warmth, and a love that never asked for anything in return. The silence without her feels impossible. I still wish she were here, still waiting for me, still curled up beside me, still making everything feel okay.

Skylar wasn’t “just a dog.” She was home. She was comfort. She was part of my heart walking outside my body.

Though my heart is broken, I find peace knowing she is no longer hurting and that she is reunited with Tiggy again. I like to imagine them together now — happy, whole, and waiting for the day we meet again.

I will miss her forever. I will carry her with me forever too. Thank you, Skylar, for every cuddle, every happy tail wag, every moment of comfort, and every ounce of love you gave so freely. There will never be another like you.
