Sam
2005 - 2021
Our dearest Sam, we are so blessed and grateful that you chose us. You were a neglected, starving kitten whose owner never let you in or fed you. You hated the cold and kept getting attacked by a lot of other cats. I'm glad your owner didn't fight for you when we fed you and took you in everyday, and eventually kept you as ours. I've never seen a crazier cat, you never stopped talking and never let us alone. You never wanted to be alone in a room and howled when one of our bedroom doors were closed. I guess that was your PTSD from never getting let in from your original owner. You always got into mischief and were so curious right into your old age. I heard you cooing to yourself before you'd jump so you literally always talked even when alone. You could even jump up high until you were 15 and half years old. Your springing ability came from jumping up high all the time when you were trying to escape all the other cats in your early years. I can't believe you're gone, I can't believe you went downhill in just one day. I know you were ill for a few months, but you were still so energetic and mischievous. We'll never get over your loss. We've never seen a crazy, intelligent, bratty cat like you. I hope we see you again one day my dear sweet Sam the Ham.
