He left gentle marks on the world around him—scratches on cabinet doors, a well-worn place on the back of the couch, a certain stillness that now feels too loud in his absence.

Though his time was far too short, his impact was deep and lasting. Salem gave his love freely and without condition. he was loved just as fiercely in return.
