Roxy
2009 - 2026
Little Roxy.
I miss your sweet furry face, and pretty green eyes that always held so much trust.
I’ll miss that little signature head bob followed by a quick mew as if to say, “Hey, you came back” when we’d walk into the room you were in.
We smiled tonight as we recounted the very loud “thump” you would make jumping off the upstairs bed. (we could always hear, no matter how loud the tv was playing)
We couldn’t have asked for a feline companion with a more gentle disposition - even when the grandkids tested your patience with their pokey little fingers and excited voices.
17 years went all too quickly. We wanted more quiet moments with our senior girl but couldn’t watch you hurt any more.
We will cherish the precious last few days spent with you, giving you all the love and care you deserved. It is both a curse and a blessing to have given you a gentle lift to cross the rainbow, sweetie.
If I could ask God to change one thing, I’d ask for animals to be able to talk to their humans.
Roxie luv, go find Ollie man and a big ‘ol comfy chair to cuddle in once again.
