Puffers

2013 - 2026

I would like to thank all the staff involved at Tamworth Veterinary Services - Dr Lori Forester who were so caring and compassionate on Sept 18, 2026 when assisting our 13 year old dog Puffers to cross over. We couldn't have asked for a more peaceful passing, outside, under shade trees by the river, surrounded by peace, nature and his loved ones who could be there. Thank you.

His last day was spent enjoying a long car ride, his favorite spot at Beaver lake, along with bacon, sausage and icecream. We were lucky to have such a tiny fierce protector for 13 years and not once did I worry about my safety or the kids with Puffers around. In public he was the kindest soul but at his home, in his yard or in his car, his family came first. There was never a dull moment with puffers with days full of laughs, some scares and lots of snuggles. Even though he showed his disapproval with the odd poo in my shoe(he was a sniper in his past life) and it drove me crazy, a little part of my heart broke yesturday and the silence of his tiny feet will be missed 🤍 .
