In Loving Memory of Mikey

Mikey came into this world fighting to live — and thanks to the love and care of Misfit Manor, live he did. From the very beginning, he proved just how strong and determined such a tiny little dog could be.
Last Friday evening, Mikey left this world the very same way he entered it — fighting with every ounce of strength he had. And through it all, he remained the sweetest, most loving little soul imaginable.
There may never be another dog so small who loved so deeply and was loved so fiercely by everyone lucky enough to meet him. At just 4.5 pounds, Mikey somehow managed to completely fill every room, every heart, and every moment with love, personality, and joy. Whether it was demanding belly rubs, giving endless nose licks, or barking to remind everyone he ruled the house, Mikey made an unforgettable impression on everyone around him.
While our hearts are broken, we take comfort knowing that wherever he is now, the belly rubs are endless, the blankets are warm, and he is surrounded by love.
We will miss you more than words could ever say, little buddy. Thank you for every moment, every cuddle, every laugh, and every ounce of unconditional love you gave us.
