Kiro The Cat

2004 - 2022

Born on a Quebec farm in April 2004, Kiro The Cat met her person, Faisal, at the age of 6 weeks old and subsequently moved to the metropolis of Montreal where she grew into adulthood as an indoor cat with occasional forays onto balconies and into backyards in some of the very iconic neighbourhoods of the city such as the Mile-End and Plateau. She then moved with Faisal and Tamara to downtown Toronto where she lived her senior years watching the many squirrels, birds and racoons from out the apartment window, picking up the affectionate nickname ‘Mrs. Kiro’.
Her hobbies included chasing sunbeams, running in hallways, and pouncing on string. Kiro loved an active lifestyle and was an expert jumper and climber, motivated by her intense curiosity to explore. She also enjoyed taking naps in all kinds of places especially laundry baskets, purring loudly on a comfortable warm lap, and sitting in cardboard boxes. Kiro was a well-traveled cat, seeing Canada from coast to coast by plane, train and automobile, visiting Vancouver, Mississauga, and New Brunswick. Kiro loved to socialize with people and she was adored by all who met her. She was the most loving and caring cat, who was loved just as much back. She will be greatly missed by Faisal and Tamara as well as by her many human friends.
