2012 - 2025

Huxley, a smooth-haired black and tan Mini Dachshund, was born on January 18, 2012 and died on November 5, 2025 from congestive heart failure. Small in size but large in personality, he was a loyal companion with a distinct sense of humor. He loved burrowing under blankets, camping, digging for gophers, being chased, and claiming any unattended chair as his own. He disliked being alone and had no patience for collars, harnesses, or costumes.

He leaves behind countless memories: clever hiding spots when he knew someone was about to leave, dramatic blanket-nest negotiations, and joyful morning rolls and snorts. Huxley was deeply loved, endlessly expressive, and an irreplaceable best friend.
