With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to you, our beloved Happy. For 15.5 years, you filled our lives with unconditional love, loyalty, and joy. From the moment I brought you home in 2009—curled up in my lap on the car ride—you became more than just a pet. You were family, my best friend, and my quiet source of comfort through every chapter of life.

You were there through it all—the laughter, the challenges, the milestones. You sat beside me in my hardest moments, offering your presence when words weren’t enough. Even when I was far from home, your love never wavered. While I Was studying abroad, you would wait by the door for hours whenever you heard my voice on the phone, your devotion bridging the distance between us. It was such a blessing that you were able to celebrate Elise’s second birthday with us, sharing in one last family milestone before we had to say goodbye.

Though your body grew weak, your spirit remained strong. Today, as I held you in my lap one last time—just as I did when I first brought you home—I knew the greatest act of love was letting you go peacefully.

Grief is the price of love, and love is always worth it. Though our hearts ache, we are forever grateful for the years we had with you. Your love will remain woven into our lives, in every quiet moment and every cherished memory.
