17 years wasn’t long enough.

There are some dogs who don't just enter a room; they claim it. After 17 incredible years, the world is a little quieter today. Ellie was a force of nature - a tiny dog with a personality so big it didn't seem possible it could be contained in one body. She had a way of commanding a smile from absolutely everyone she met.

She was the definition of loyalty. Through every high and every low life threw our way, she was the one constant, never leaving my side. Her loyalty was unmatched. She was strong, she was fierce, and she was the most devoted companion anyone could ask for.

She lived life on her own terms right until the very end. She was loved and will be missed by every single person who was lucky enough to be in her orbit. Today, a truly special angel finally got her wings.
