In Loving Memory of Dexx.
Our sweet Dexxie Boogie Bear was truly one of a kind. He loved being close to his people, curling up on our laps and demanding rubs whenever he felt like it. If we stopped too soon, he'd make sure we heard about it. He loved running circles around people when he got excited, going for long jogs with me, swimming at Sue Higgins with his brothers Kronos and Atlas, and getting spoiled with Christmas presents from Aunty Lou. He was also my favourite movie-night buddy. The second he heard popcorn being made, he'd appear out of nowhere and make himself comfortable beside me, waiting for his own bowl!
One of the greatest gifts Dexx gave our family was the love he had for his human sister, Styliani. From the day she was born, he took his job as her protector seriously. He walked beside her through the neighbourhood and joined her on adventures to the mountain, the maze, and the apple orchard—some of their favourite places together. He stayed close when she was upset and offered comfort in a way that only a dog can. Thank you, Dexx, for loving her so fiercely, for being her best friend, and for always watching over her.
We're so sorry you got sick. If we could have taken it from you, we would have. But we're so grateful for the life you had and all the memories you gave us. You were loved every single day of your life, and we hope you knew that. Thank you for the laughs, the cuddles, the adventures, and the love. We miss you more than words can say, and we always will.
Forever our Dexxie Boogie Bear.
