Sweet and spicy Diva From the day we first met to the day we had to say good-bye.
Dear favorite, and the spare Humans, i Thank you for your service.
know training me was difficult, largely because I had no intention of being trained, and refused to sit on anything that was not soft... Still, you tried so hard.
Thank you for carrying me almost everywhere despite my possession of four perfectly functional short little legs. I appreciate your commitment to maintaining my status as royalty.
Thank you for allowing me to sleep on your: chest, belly, shoulder, neck, thigh, in arms till they cramped, your pillow, and occasionally on your face. I noticed you believed that the big bed belonged to you... That was so adorable. Thank you for understanding that my preferred sleeping position was directly on top of whichever organ you needed most.
Thank you for opening the door every single time I requested it, And then reopening it thirty seconds later when I changed my mind, And then reopening it again because I had changed my mind about changing my mind...
Consistency is very important.
Thank you for the snacks, but not the healthy snacks. The good snacks, the ones I wasn’t supposed to have but somehow acquired through advanced psychological manipulation, prolonged eye contact, foot stamps, and Lady-Like grunts.
I would also like to apologize for absolutely nothing, The occasional barking was necessary and The leaf, or imaginary dream thing knew what they did...
The chipmunk and squirrel were always suspicious, and The delivery drivers and solicitors had no business approaching the kingdom!
As for the peeing outside issue, I stand by my position, the damp grass or cold snow was sensitive on my toe beans even with your struggles to make me wear boots, and The water falling or noisy windy weather was always unacceptable.
Thank you for every lap nap, every blanket fort, Every ride in my travel bag, or improvised royal carriage always in the front passenger seat... Peasants sit in the rear.
Most importantly, thank you for loving me.
For laughing at my silly quirks, for carrying me since I was always small in a big world. For do everything you could when I was sick. For making a life where a little creature could be completely ridiculous and completely adored at the same time.
I know you miss me. I miss you too.
wherever I am now, I have already found the warmest blanket, claimed the best seat, and convinced everyone that I am in charge... As things should be.
Love your beany-baby
P.S. The chipmunks remain untrustworthy.
Love you, momma. You were my human.
