For ten beautiful years,
you were my constant companion.
The steady warmth beside me each morning,
the soft weight of your body grounding me to the world,
the gentle kiss of your tongue on my hand —
reminding me I was never alone.
You had a gift, Coco —
always in tune with my emotions,
helping me with your silent, unconditional love.
I tried my very best to protect you.
You pulled through so much —
falls, scares, and even a collapsing trachea.
Even as your sight faded and your little body ached,
your spirit stayed strong,
and your loyalty never wavered.
You were the bravest little camper,
adventurous at heart,
always by my side. I will miss our walks in the buggy and giving you treats at the restaurants. I miss your loving gaze.
I miss you more than words can hold.
You weren't just a dog —
you were a part of me.
My heart dog, My soul companion.
The space you filled in my life
can never be replaced.
Thank you, sweet Coco, for every moment,
every nuzzle, every beat of love you gave me.
