Chloe
2007 - 2022
Chloe Cartwright, better known as Baby Chloe crossed the rainbow bridge Monday, 25 April 2022 peacefully in the arms of her mom and dad.
Born Saturday 7 April 2007, in Prince Edward Counties, Ontario. Chloe was the beloved dog of James & Isabelle Cartwright of Stayner, Ontario. She is survived by her two favourite kids, Jenn & Austin; a darling grandson, Nate; her brother, Squeak & Sumac and a baby sister, Skye.
She is predeceased by her entire litter of 10, her favourite cat, Minoune; an annoying feline sister, Timbit and three rascal ferrets, Fred, Ginger and Bailey.
Chloe’s favourite activities was swimming, camping, trail hiking, trail running, diving for rocks, and in her later years, walkies.
Chloe was perfectly depicted with this quote “Golden Retriever: the sun is shining, the day is young, we’ve got our whole lives ahead of us, and you’re inside worrying about a stupid burnt out light bulb”
More than anything else, Chloe loved her mom and dad. She was always keen to greet us with a d’Bork d’Bork d’Bork, she really thought she spoke English and tried her best to have a voice into everything we did. Always the best companion, without any training her intuitive behaviour was pretty much a service dog.
Chloe displayed an uncanny ability to find her hotel rooms off leash while traveling across the country several times.
Chloe lost a hard fought battle with late onset epilepsy at age 15, 2 weeks, 3 days.
She will forever be missed and remembered with her unconditional love and loyalty.
We love you Baby Chloe, until we meet again. RIP Baby Girl
