Princess
2005 - 2025
Our sweet, beautiful Princess. From the moment we saw you at OSPCA in 2016, we knew we wanted to bring you home with us. You were the kitty cat we would love forever. You were always so beautiful inside and out. We wanted you to be so happy with us. You were such a beautiful calico cat. You had the cutest freckles on your nose! We had never seen a cat with freckles! You were 11 then and you gave us almost nine years of great joy and love. There are so many things that you did throughout the years that showed how special you were, that will remain in our hearts forever. Your body and head twists were so cute and showed us how happy you were. Every morning you would sit in the wedge of our couch while we had coffee in one hand, and we rubbed you with the other hand. You would always come downstairs to the smell of toast with butter. On weekends you would come down for movie nights and you would get your weekend quota of belly rubs. When mommy was working at home, you would come and flop down requesting rubs. You would roll around and twist to indicate how happy that made you. You loved sitting and lying in the sun both inside and outside. Sometimes you would steal daddy's chair because it was sunny and so you could sit beside mommy. Your meows were so unique and sometimes daddy would say you were a French cat as you had a rolling sound to your meow. We knew you loved for us to be home. Mommy always worried about being out too long. You were curious about everything in the house. When you wanted to come in or out of the house, you would press your paws against the door to make a noise to tell us. You would come to bed with us sometimes and you would want to go under the bedspread for a while and relax and hide. You didn't like closed doors. In the morning you would follow daddy down the stairs, and you would always let him know you wanted the basement door opened. Daddy would approach you sometimes with the monster walk and sound, and you would make a cute noise whenever he did that. Daddy built you a wooden food tray to elevate your food. When you got older, he also made you a wooden step to allow you to easily jump onto your sun chair. At Christmas time you would love to lay on the tree skirt. There are so many wonderful memories over the years that we will cherish forever, You lived a full life to 20. It was terribly hard to have to let you go. The pain of not having you with us anymore is so difficult to bear. We are happy that you are at peace and no longer in pain. We will all meet again one day. We love you so much Princess, and you will be forever in our hearts. Thank you for all the love and joy you gave us. Love always, mommy and daddy. Xxxxxoooo ❤️❤️❤️
