MINDY

1996 - 2016

Our beloved Mindy. You were so beautiful, sweet and well behaved. It is so hard to sum up 20 years of love and joy with you. You were such a sweetheart and you made us so happy everyday. You and Sabre had such a great life together for 18 years. When we lost Sabre, we were all so sad. We got through it together and we knew that Sabre was in a better place as you are now.
There are so many things mommy and daddy love about you. You loved being inside the house but would always try and find that sun spot. You were a sun worshiper and seemed so relaxed girl. We loved seeing you at the top of the stairs staring at us do the dishes. You stood there so prim and proper. We remember calling your name while you where at the top of the stairs and you would look around saying " Who me?" You were too cute. You loved drinking cold water and it was funny how your paws would fling forward but you kept drinking. Daddy misses you coming down the stairs when you saw him sitting there. You always loved being upstairs but especially in your room. We will always call it "Mindy's Room."
You had a licking fever for the bathtub after daddy's shower. Crazy cat.
Rubbing your face on things was another cute thing you did. You loved when we brushed you and you would walk away because you were so excited, but you always came back for more.
We miss seeing you on the wedge of the couch beside us when we watch movies. We loved watching movies with you on Friday and Saturday nights. In the winter you would lie down in your glory in front of the fireplace. You really loved that wonderful heat.
We cherish those Christmas mornings that we had together for our gift opening. You loved getting those stuffed catnip pouches and colorful toys. You would go crazy licking them.
We are so happy you got your dental surgery done two years ago. You seemed so much happier after that.
When you got sick and we found out you had cancer the world came down on us. It was the hardest thing we had to do since we lost Sabre. We didn't want to see you suffer anymore. We miss you so much now. Thank you for allowing us to love you so deeply. We will always love you Mindy.
You are FOREVER in our hearts. You and Sabre are together forever now. XOXOXO
