2014 - 2020

I found James on September 10, 2014 during a spontaneous country car ride. Skin and bones; someone had clearly abandoned him in the middle of no where. Without hesitation, I knew I had to bring him home.

Over the course of our six wonderful years together, James would always sleep at the foot of my bed, or snuggle up beside me. He kept me company during baths, and was always up for a cuddle on the couch, while we watched TV.

In May 2020, James was diagnosed with bone marrow cancer, and he was given one month left to live. During that month, we spent a lot of time on the porch (his favourite!), eating lots of treats, lots of soft food, and enjoying the brand new scratch post I just knew he would love.

On Thursday, June 25th, beside his two favourite people, James was sent to heaven.

There are no words to express how much James is missed.
